The students responsible for our Worship Week are introducing some very odd items indeed. They have said that they have no theme, but the term "Sexual Harmony" seems to be cropping up rather frequently. I presumed that this was of significance to only the married students, but some of the single men seem to be involved as well. We have been urged not to be afraid of touching one another because it is important to have human contact. I certainly saw some odd contact being made at the Peace today! And the idea of being open and telling people that you feel that they are beautiful seems highly questionable. I am sure that being "made in God's image" should not lead to this sort of thing. When I complained about it I was told that I am "too British" and that I should "try to unfreeze"! Well, it turns me right off, particularly when they play that Marvin Gaye song "Healing" each day to set the mood.
