The Rev. Nigel Doddering in an advertising image promoting "Miracle Glow" whitening paste for clerical collars - 1937. He remained on the books of the "Clerical Modelling Agency" of Wenchoster until it ceased trading in 1951. Its business was taken over by "Posh Posers" which remained in operation until 1978.  The Rev. Doddering appeared in several other advertisements, but none brought him such instant recognition as the one above.
