Sisters Gertrude, Euphemia and Martha of the Order of the Holy Hankie of St Veronica had no conception of the content of the film ("In bed with Madonna") showing at their local cinema, thinking it to be a biopic of the Mother of the Lord. Having seen it they immediately entered a closed House of Augustinian Canonesses in Belgium.
