The Rev. Rupert Backstroke narrowly missed election to the vacancy of Suffragan Bishop of East Broadwench in 2004 when Pharisaios Investigations uncovered this picture of him preaching at the Annual gathering of "Cloud 9", the Movement for the Ordination of Morris Men (MOMM) in 1991. The group was banned from church-based activities in 1995.
