At the central point in the ceremony, the Revd. Michael Angle, who was at this time the Director of Oblates (DOB), sings the great hymn of praise to St. Veronica. Part of this text reads: Rejoice heavenly powers! Sing choirs of angels! Exult all creation around God's throne. Hold aloft the holy hankie! Blow the nostrils of salvation! At which point all the members of the Order clear their nasal tubes in unison.
